Monochrome

Welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

This week we want you to go

MONOCHROME

As always you can win a $50 voucher and spend it at

I felt inspired by the beautiful Autumn we have here last days.
It's sunny and quite warm and all the trees are changing
the colors of their leaves from greens on reds, oranges and yellows.
Love this view.
And I love pears, so take a look at my sweet and sunny card:

This is a short description of how I made my card:

1. I used my TH Stamp Platform with Mixed Media Heavy cardstock
and SSS Circle Doodle Bacground stamp with Embossing Ink.
2. Applied SSS Clear Embossing Powder and heated.
3. I played with Distress Oxide Inks until was happy with the result.
4. Stamped the edges with Bo Bunny Stitches and Distress Oxide.
5. I stamped several times my pear from SA Classics#1 set
on a watercolor paper with Archival Potting Soil Ink.
6. I colored my pears with yellow, orange and browns Distress Inks.
7. I fussy-cut a pear and placed with 3D dots over another one.
8. Finally I distressed the edges and added some gauze and flowers.

Be Happy

Hi there!
I was chosen a Pinworthy Mention and a Guest Designer
at A Vintage Journey which I am very proud of.

This is my project as a Guest Designer and the theme for October is

CRAZY FOR AUTUMN COLORS

So here come yellows, oranges, reds, browns and greens
because this is how I see Autumn in my country.
Here we call it Golden Polish Autumn and it's not without reason.
Our forests and parks really get all that colored during autumn.

For my background I used the amazing Tim Holtz STAMPtember
stamp set using tree rings embossed and colored with Distress Oxides.
My central composition are  Sizzix Tattered Leaves and Penny Black Lively.
I colored them with Distress Inks and covered with SSS Clear Embossing Powder to give them shine and more vibrant colors.
Then I put a Paper Doll and Happy by Heidi Swap

Thank you for stopping by and thank you Deb for inviting me!

It's A Dog's Life

the Mondays are prettier, dont't you think?

Here we come then to make your Monday with a new challenge.
This week's theme is adorable and it's all about our four-legs friends!

IT'S A DOG'S LIFE

Don't forget you can win a $50 voucher
and spend it at the greatest Simon Says Stamp Store!

Here is my card made for my sweet friend who is struggling
with her leg broken for almost two months now,
It's a healing card saying "get better soon" in Polish.
As she's the bigger dogs-lover that I know, it's perfect for her.

Here are the steps for making this card:

1/2. Cut out pieces of TH Mixed Media die and adhere them
with Gel Medium to the base, cover it all with White Gesso.

3. Give some color with various shades of blue Distress Oxides.

4. Add more blues with Prima Oil Pastel Crayons.

5. Use Embossing Pen and SSS Steel Navy embossing powder
and apply it randomly over the dies.

6. Die-cut the base with Sizzix Postage Frame.
As I needed a square not a rectangle,
I cut out a part of the frame and shortened it.
